The D250SA offers a special AGM function for AGM batteries. These batteries need to be charged at a higher voltage of 14.7V. There is an advanced inbuilt Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) that maximizes the power from the solar panels. This will save you time and money as you won't need a separate solar regulator.

When using the D250SA, the risk of your battery overcharging or overheating is virtually nonexistent. The built-in temperature sensor compensates for both hot and cold conditions.

D250SA AND SMARTPASS 120: A GREAT TEAM.

Pair the D250SA with the Smartpass 120, a fully automatic 120A onboard power management system, for the ultimate combination of power and charging ability. This system can deliver up to 140A of charging power to an 800Ah battery bank.

The D250SA will charge the battery close to its full capacity, then slow the voltage to maintain the battery at full or near charge, allowing the battery to last longer and perform at its best. The Smartpass 120 can boost your solar charging system, also making the process more efficient.
